In October 2010, the first students enrolled for the first two Master’s degrees on offer: Biotechnology-pharmacology, Material Sciences and Nanotechnologies.  One year later, another two Master’s degrees (Water-Environment-Oceanography and NICTs) have been added to the portfolio of courses. Then, since october 2012,  Master’s degrees in Space and applications  and in  renewable Energies  have started.

The courses are currently hosted by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VASTVietnam Academy of Science and Technology). The USTH university site will be located and built near the Hoa Lake.
